Today, we will be taking a special offering for the Baptist Children’s Village.  BCV receives almost half its funding from individual churches throughout Mississippi.  Please prayerfully consider what you can give to help these Mississippi children.  Special envelopes may be found in the pews and in the church foyer.

 

The WMU is collecting little girl items during May for Operation Christmas Child.

 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, June 23-27, 2008.  We have 20 slots to fill if we are going to have Vacation Bible School this year.  There are too many holes in positions that if we don’t have more helpers, we will have to cancel.  If you can help, contact Scharla Bivings at scharla@comcast.net or call her at 601-906-6747.

 

The Nominating Committee is looking for a GA Director.  If you would be interested in filling this important position, please contact Beverly King.

 

Sunday, May 25^th will be Robin Moody’s last day with us.  There will be a reception for her in the Fellowship Hall following the evening service.  A box  will be available in the hall where you may place cards and other expressions of your appreciation for Robin.  We will miss her wonderful musical talent.
